Could not agree more.....
Give me a fork and a shock with high & low speed, compression and rebound adjustments and let me ride....
Pro-Pedal was useful for the rare occasion that I pedaled my 9" travel dh bike up a hill, but I personally have no use for all this other "technology" 
those frames run small...might be a good fit for you. Sick bike! Brent decided to start offering his frames with the ability to run other shocks because he recognized the fact that not everyone had an extra 5-600$ to spend on a frame with a curnutt shock on it. He is trying to make his frames availible to more people.

Love the PVC chain guide, that is GENIUS!!! Yeah thanks, that is what I meant...I always get their names mixed up! I am not sure how the patent effects these types of things, but I do know that Specialized owns the "Horst Link" or FSR design. Much like Joe Lawill owns the "Lawill parallel linkage design" which is much older than the FSR or "Horst Link" and anyone who wants to use it has have to permission and pay a royalty to him, (Joe lawill that is.) I could be completely wrong, but I "think" (emhasis on think..) it may be the same situation with the big S....just throwin this out there, would love to hear more info on the subject if anyone has any... 
Regardless of weather or not people agree with the philosophy behind it, I think its a sick looking bike that can obviously take a beating, Cam Zink- enough said....
Is this bike ever going to be available? Yeah, I dont know what size he rides, just assumed he rode a large cuz he is fairly tall... I wonder if they are going to make a frame big enough for Gee to ride...as it stands, the large Fury is on the small side of a medium...
